Summer Reading Program

The Summer Reading Program runs for a week each summer, and is an exciting and fun-filled program that encourages children to read and use their imaginations to explore. Games, crafts, snacks and books are all part of this fantastic program. 

Ladies Night Out Book Club

"Ladies Night Out Book Club" meets on the third Tuesady of each month. We meet
in the library with two people hosting the evening. They provide snacks and wine. We
discuss the book, visit, and choose the next book and the next hostesses. All ladies
welcome. contact the Library Manager @ 780 971-2593 if you wish to join or just come
to one of the meeting.

Do You Remember

The Dixonville Museum has a "Do You Remember" item display at the library. Each
month they choose different items from the museum to put on display.

Trade Book Box

The library has a "Trade Book Box" that you can trade books one-for-one or purchase
a book for $ 1.00 (Library hours only). Patrons can come in during library hours and
trade their used books or find a "gem" in the trade box.

Art Collection of the Month

"Art Collection of the Month" is a program where different community artists can
display their art for two months at a time. Please contact the Library Manager @ 780
971-2953 if you wish to display your art or Art Collection to the public.

Coffee at the Library

"Coffee at the Library " is very popular. Different community members and business
sponsor the coffee at the library for $30.00 a month. If you wish to donate to the
Coffee Sponsorship please contact the library staff at  @ 780 971-2953


Ladies Tea Fashion Show

There has been three Annual "Ladies Tea Fashion Show" since the opening of the
library. This fundraiser is hosted by the school and the proceeds are donated to the

Hard-Times Dance and Pie Auction Library Fundraiser

The library hosts a Pie Auction and Hard Times Dance and fundraiser. Pies are donatedand auctioned off, and prizes are awarded for best hard times costumes. The evening is fun-filled for the kids too, with different activities throughout. 

Communuity Auction Event -

The "Community Auction Event" is a split fund raiser between the library, and people.
